Locate the shoulder piece that is closest to your body
While holding your baby on your shoulder, carefully put baby's leg through the shoulder piece
Spread the fabric under baby's bottom and shoulder
Tuck baby's leg under second piece while supporting the upper body
Spread the fabric of the second piece covering baby's bottom and shoulder
Locate the front piece and carefully put baby's legs through this section
Pull the front piece up and over baby
You may tuck baby's head under one of the shoulder pieces for additional support
